How the day works

The Label of the Day hides a wine among the 5,000 best-known in the search: six clues, six tries, the same for everyone. It changes at midnight, Brasília time.

The review brings two questions from stages you've done, right when it's time to remember: the next day, then after 3, 7 and 21 days. Get the 21-day one right and the stage is kept for good. Miss it and it comes back tomorrow, and you lose nothing.

The next stage follows the grape of the week: the grape, the region where it shines and a word from the glossary. But any stage can be done at any time, and the path has no clock and no lives to lose.

Why remembering works

Answering from memory sticks better than rereading, and coming back to a subject at intervals sticks better than studying it all at once. That is why every answer shows the right one, the sentence and the source, and the review comes back on days further and further apart.

Every question comes from a sourced fact on the house pages: the grapes, the regions and the glossary. See something wrong? Tap Tell us on the question itself.
