The house says
From the same entry-level line of Cremaschi Barriga, the family winery in Chile's Maule Valley that also goes by Cremaschi Furlotti, this is the Carménère that the importer Wine brings to Brazil with the Valle Central appellation on the label, from vineyards in the Loncomilla Valley. 2025 vintage, 12.5% alcohol, stainless steel only, no oak, light body and silky tannins. The importer mentions ripe blackberry and plum, the herbal and spicy notes typical of the grape, black cherry and green pepper, and suggests pot roast, roast chicken, gnocchi in tomato sauce, tomato sauces, herbs, spices and cheese, at around 16 °C. It is not in the X-Wines base, so it has no rating from drinkers yet. Had it? Toast and tell us.
Basic details checked by the house in Oct 2026; acidity will be added once the house checks the label.

Are you this wine's producer?
This page comes from the public X-Wines database or from what the house read on the producer's website. Whoever makes the wine knows best: send the official tech sheet, correct what's wrong or ask for it to come down. No producer pays to get in, to move up or to leave, and the sheet you send takes precedence over any other source.
Received, thank you. The house replies to the e-mail you left, confirms it's from the producer and updates the page.
Spotted something wrong on this page?
Got it, thanks. The house checks the source and fixes it.
Goes well with
Red meat, poultry, pasta, aged cheese and spicy food.
A suggestion, not a rule: if you liked it another way, you're right.

A label outside X-Wines, an open scientific dataset (de Azambuja, R. X. et al., 2023): basic details gathered and checked by the house, in the month shown under “The house says”; no rating, because ratings aren't made up. The price range only shows up once the house checks it at a big store in Brazil; this one hasn't been checked yet. Finds with the price checked on the date are in The Garimpo.
