Peruzzo is a family winery in Bagé, in the Campanha Gaúcha of southern Brazil, making still and sparkling wine from its own vineyards. This is the 2022 Pinot Noir, a dry red from the Campanha Gaúcha: 13.7% alcohol. The producer describes a ruby color of low intensity and aromas of strawberry and cherry, with black pepper, clove and earthy notes once the wine has breathed. On the palate: medium structure, marked acidity, soft tannins and a long finish with a touch of menthol. It suggests salad, pasta, baked fish, seafood risotto and non-spicy seafood, served at 16 to 18 °C. It is not in the X-Wines base, so it has no rating from drinkers yet. Had it? Toast and tell us.
