Peruzzo is a family winery in Bagé, in the Campanha Gaúcha of southern Brazil, making still and sparkling wine from its own vineyards. This is the Ícone, the winery's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon: 13.7% alcohol and about two years in French oak barrels. The producer mentions aromatic intensity, complexity and soft tannins, with red fruit and, from the oak, pepper and tobacco. It suggests game and roast or grilled red meats, chicken and pasta with sauces, served at 16 to 18 °C. It is not in the X-Wines base, so it has no rating from drinkers yet. Had it?
